How To Empty Downloads Folder Windows 10

since installing windows 10 from windows 8.1, my downloads folder gets cleared out every time I restart my computer. is there a setting I am missing.  I tried coping files from a fill-in to my downloads folder. reset my computer downloads folder is cleared again.

Am I the Only i that has this problem.  I take searched for maybe a setting I have missed. I tin't find one information technology merely happens when I rest the computer.  For now I am transferring my downloads to some other binder before I reset or turn off my computer

I did discover a way to make this happen automatically. but I exercise not want the contents of my downloads folder deleted unless I do information technology.

I did this and got a bulletin stating some items could not be fixed then I went to log and got a agglomeration of code I take no idea what it ment. what is next. should I send the log to someone. it was over 2000 pages
